“Let me tell you something about Bolin. We were best friends in middle school. I know, right? It’s so embarrassing. I don’t even… whatever. So then in eighth grade, I started going out with my first boyfriend, Shady Shin, who was totally gorgeous but then he joined the Triple Threat Triad, and Bolin was like, weirdly jealous of him. Like, if I would blow him off to hang out with Shin, he’d be like, ‘Why didn’t you call me back?’ And I’d be like, ‘Why are you so obsessed with me?’ So then for my birthday party, which was an all-Wolfbats pool party, I was like, ‘Bolin, I can’t invite you because I think you’re a Fire Ferret.’ I mean, I couldn’t have a Fire Ferret at my party. There were gonna be Wolfbats there in their pro-bending uniforms. I mean, right? He was a Fire Ferret! So then his brother called my mom and started yelling at her. It was so retarded. And then he dropped out of school because no one would talk to him. When he came back in the fall for high school, all of his hair was slicked back and he was totally weird, and now I guess he’s drunk on noodles.”
It was only a matter of time before I made a LOK/Mean Girls crossover.

People get hurt all the time. This is the reason to love Asami. Because Asami stayed strong. Asami wasn’t angry at Korra, and she didn’t let her sadness and frustration control her.
She, at this point, had lost almost everything- her mother, her father, her home, and her boyfriend and yet Asami powers on and does what is right because she knows it’s right. Asami draws power from herself, and is truly an amazing character.
